Konjo Assistant Terms

Effective July 16, 2026

Konjo Assistant is an optional staff documentation tool for authorized dojo staff age 18 or older. These terms supplement Konjo’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Permission-scoped records

The Assistant can use only records the signed-in staff member is permitted to access. Private profile questions are not grounded with public web search. Dojo owners and Konjo app administrators may review Assistant activity and confirmed-action audits as described in the product.

AI providers and privacy routing

Konjo first requests a zero-data-retention route through Vercel AI Gateway. If no eligible route is available, Konjo may use standard paid Gemini with prompt training disabled. The product displays a fallback notice when that occurs. Provider and privacy-routing metadata are recorded for accountability.

Human review and confirmed changes

AI output may be incomplete or wrong. Review it before relying on it. The Assistant cannot save documentation until an authorized staff member reviews the complete proposed bundle and presses Confirm. Confirmed changes and their authorship remain audited. Declining or allowing a confirmation to expire saves no domain changes.

Health, safety, payroll, and emergencies

The Assistant may summarize recorded injury or accommodation instructions, but it does not diagnose, prescribe, or provide medical advice. Do not use it for emergencies. Payroll data is excluded. The Assistant cannot submit, set severity for, close, void, or delete incident reports.

Retention

Full Assistant conversations expire after one year. Confirmed-action audit records are retained with the underlying business documentation according to Konjo’s and the dojo’s applicable retention practices.

Your responsibility

Use the Assistant only for legitimate dojo operations, protect student and staff confidentiality, verify citations against the linked record when accuracy matters, and report suspected unauthorized access to dojo leadership or Konjo.
